This little guy is a grotesque who sits outside the Senate Chamber. I think he kind of looks like John Diefenbaker. Technically, though, he's described by the Library of Parliament as "a little devil holding a pen" ... hmmm.
I know I shouldn't get too excited about it -- the MP will probably take out the most important thing that this little devil holding a pen (well, a mouse) has put in the motion, and even if she doesn't, the motion won't pass.
But it's the principle of the thing -- the fact that I have had a hand in the parliamentary process.
It gets me every time.
