Which it has, with aplomb. We rented a car this weekend to do Christmas errands --a large case of seasonal treats from the LCBO (I'm enjoying a little Tullamore Dew in my tea even as we blog), Christmas tree, other large items-- and it's a good thing we got our use out of it Friday and Saturday because it is snowed into the driveway now, thanks to a massive dump of snow that started last night and continues today. 
This guy's girlfriend just moved in across the street, and he had to come and snowblow her out. He's snowblowing down the middle of the street here. I suppose it hasn't dawned on him that when the snowplow eventually comes through, it's going to bury the car again.
Our neighbour Dana snowblowed our mutual driveway and the sidewalks in front of about four houses. He's been out twice here at home, and was heading down to his store (and a few neighbouring ones) for a second round. This is his work, all the way down to the garage. Good snowbanks make good neighbours.
Kelly dug out the back entrance and around to the dryer vent.
It made a perfect little cat snow tunnel. More on that anon!

Love the result of your craftiness, very cool tree. We're socked in down here as well, shades of the snow of our childhoods.
You guys have way more snow than we do....go figure. I have some new winter pictures on my blog too. check it out.
Your willow tree turned out great! What a neat idea. Pictures through the snow were just the right touch.
