Cleansing Pintail

On Saturday afternoon Kelly, Claire, Tim and I went for a walk around Quidi Vidi to work off the effects of the roast pork, mac and cheese, chocolate cake, and (depending on your age) wine or sherbet fountains.

The lake was full of ducks, including a bunch of pintails.


It turns that the ducks were also in a restorative frame of mind. I caught this one in the middle of his toilette.









He was oblivious to the click-click-click of the camera until the very end.
